Our Local Trails
Leadville is an activity-filled destination with a variety of trails to suit all levels. The Mineral Belt Trail, a 11.6-mile loop, offers a scenic ride through the historic district. For more challenging terrain, the singletrack trails built by the Cloud City Wheelers provide thrilling experiences. Other popular trails include Mosquito Pass, Tennessee Pass, Turquoise Lake Trail, and Interlaken Trail, each offering unique scenery and challenges. Cloud City Wheelers Mtn Bike Trails
We have more riding here in Leadville than you might think! With the help of CMC, Lake County and a ton of volunteer hours, The Cloud City Wheelers have built some great trail. Below are maps of both the summer and winter versions of the network the club has finished. We also finished 8 miles of new trail at Turquise Lake...Maps are being worked on. Come ride our trails and stop on in at the bike shop for anything you need!
Road Cycling
With the infamous "triangle" and Independence Pass, we have some great road riding to be had. Whether you want to ride the public roads or Non-motorized trails, Leadville has something for everyone. Did I mention the 12-mile paved trail that loops around town and brings you up into the Historical Mining District?.. We have that too! It's called the Mineral Belt Trail and the map is ——>
