2023 Fat Bike Series

Thanks to the Cloud City Wheelers, these unique and exciting races occur throughout the winter in and around Leadville. Utilizing groomed nordic ski trails, groomed singletrack, and snowmobile trails, these races are a great way to keep riding and racing during the off-season. Two of the races are even held at night!

A typical course is 15 miles with a mix of spine-tingling conditions. Cost is $25 per race.

All proceeds from the race series go towards Cloud City Wheelers advocacy efforts. These races always end with plenty of tasty food and beverages, laughter and dang good times. Come on up and enjoy the ride!

January 26-28 - Fat bike worlds!!

Fat Bike Worlds is an annual event that unites fat bike enthusiasts worldwide. This exhilarating gathering showcases thrilling races, including downhill, cross-country, and endurance challenges. It fosters a vibrant community, connecting riders of all levels and promoting camaraderie. Fat Bike Worlds is a must-attend celebration of the sport, highlighting the incredible capabilities of fat bikes in a dynamic and memorable experience.

Febuary 10th - TP Night JAM  –  20TH ANNUAL!!! Tennessee Pass Night Jam

Bring your lights to Tennessee Pass Nordic Center for a fast race through the trees at Ski Cooper

4pm Register/Check In @ Tennessee Pass Nordic Center, Race starts @ 6:15pm

March 2nd - Mineral Belt Mayhem

An 11 mile loop on Leadville’s beautiful Mineral Belt Trail and some singletrack to boot at Night! Start and finish on Harrison Ave. during Leadville’s Crystal Carnival Weekend.

4pm Register/Check In @ Cycles of Life, 309 Harrison Ave., Race starts @ 6:15pm

March 16th-17th -  FATTY PATTY 5OK

April 6th – East Side Epic

A tour of Leadville’s historic Mining District

8am Register/Check In @ Leadvelo. Race starts @ 10am @ 700 East 8th St.
